“The Ballroom Dance Club at UVA aims to teach ballroom dancing both socially and competitively.  We teach all nineteen styles of ballroom dancing, and we have lessons for all levels, whether you’ve never danced before or you have years of experience.  Our competitive members travel to around three competitions each semester, but when we’re in town, we love social dancing around Charlottesville, having game nights, and going apple picking or ice skating.  The club also puts on several events for the community, including formal dances (like Masquerade Ball and Rotunda Ball), our semesterly Showcase, and our annual Dancing with the Professors.”
